just call me daddy : then pray for said child

excited to report that erin is pregnant and we are going to welcome our first addition to this richardson family since we got married (the two dogs are from dating years).

it's scary to think that i'm going to be a dad..

we are just now telling folks. "pellet" as i like to refer to the child is only 11 weeks along (he/she is actually larger than a pellet, but i still like pellet
as a name). pellet will join our crazy clan in the middle of september if all goes as planned. till then, erin has her good days and bad days. we're figuring out what odd diet stuff she craves. so far, nothing way off the ordinary. i'd give her a few more weeks.

  17. We called ours “Pickin”…you know the last name so it should be obvious…Congratulations and prayers for a blessed and “comfortable” pregnancy for you both…if someone has to have morning sickness, do like my hubby did and have it for her…no need for her to go it alone!

  19. That is awesome Gav. I know people are giving you all tons of advice and some of it is good and others just scary. But as a parent of one and one due in 7 more weeks, here is my 2 cents.
    Take your life now, write it on a piece of paper, ball it up and toss it out a window. That is what having a kid is like. The best part is, you never will want that piece of paper back.
    God’s blessings upon your new addition and I pray the pregnancy goes as smooth as possible. Peace, Jim.
