i am still recovering from being ill this week. mustered some strength & went over to hendersonville to watch the guys, and one girl, playing basketball. the first game of the season tourney. a number of our youth have never played formal ball (actually our girl is the only one who has played) a few have never played at all. so record wise, we don’t do too well, but they play hard, have a good time and they were able to win a game this year. the hope was that they could get a win today and move further into the tournament. didn’t get a win, but some good stories as kyle here got a busted nose while jumping around for a rebound.
