i like many of you watched last nights rnc to get a vibe from republican vice-prez hopeful sarah palin. from my simple opinion, she had a lot of sass and stood up to her early critics. i can respect that. since we are a polarized state this doesn’t necessarily help in curbing that, and i know others didn’t see her speech as anything positive, while others probably thought it was the word of God. its nice to see she is making the rounds of youtube videos. i like the nerdfighters info recap. but the cross dressing guy is pretty funny too.

so on the boat this weekend the sis-in-law brought her guitar. so in random party playing i was trying to remember some of the songs i once knew. for one reason or another, other than a taize’ worship this summer, i hadn’t picked up my guitar for playing in over a year and half. one of the songs that i remembered enough of to play.. unfortunately, no one else knew enough of the words to help me fill in my memory gaps. so in remembering what i once could/can play the indigo girls ‘closer to fine‘
